Strange Coincidence
Just saw a strange coincidence in EuroBasket2009 group E where two matches ended exactly the same (71:69). Look at the screenshot above. Russia and F.Y.R. of Macedonia just mirrored the game with France and Greece.
Notice also that another match between Germany and Croatia was only 1 point shy from both teams to end in the same magic combination. Germany just needed one point to get 69 and Croatia one point to get 71.
However I don’t see any special meaning in these numbers so this fact probably go into basketball history trivia only.
